Hello Team:

Welcome to the Threashers.  We will begin practices next thursday.  If you havent done so already please create a login on the website so that you can view the schedule and get updates. 

We will be using grey pants and navy socks.  Sweatpants are ok, but baseball pants hold up better throughout the season.  I will have shirts and hats before the games begin later this Spring. 

Please get out there and have a toss to reacquaint your child with throwing and catching so we can start practice with a bang.  I try to keep practices fast moving and focus on running, throwing accuracy, and fielding.  We usually do some form of home run derby 1v1 hitting instruction while rest of kids are practicing their fielding.  I like to use points system to keep kids engaged and having fun.  I usually let them redeem points for candy or gum.  Please let me know if that is a problem.
