  •                 *****  Deep Run Valley Sports Association has decided to TEMPORARILY HALT  ALL PLANNED SPORTS PROGRAMS/PRACTICES/GAMES/TOURNAMENTS/TRIPS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. *****
Welcome to DR Baseball's website!

Deep Run Baseball provides an exceptional youth baseball experience for a wide range of ages (4-16) and skill levels. The league is run solely by volunteers and our volunteers are vital to ensure that the league is the best it can be. Deep Run is a chartered Little League organization covering the ages 4-12. Our Connie Mack baseball program offers experiences for ages 13-16 years old.

Updated Coronavirus (COVID-19) Statement from Deep Run

Parents/Players/Coaches and Families,

The Deep Run Executive Board has been closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation very closely over these last few weeks. The safety of our players, families, coaches and support staff is our number one priority.  We are monitoring the situation very closely, and we are following the guidelines and actions set by the World Health OrganizationCenters for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)Pennsylvania Department of Health and the Bucks County Health Department. In addition we are also monitoring information released and the actions taken by the Pennridge School District Doylestown Health as well as from our various sports charter organizations like Little League BaseballEastern Pennsylvania Soccer Association and Southeastern Pennsylvania Youth Lacrosse Association.

As a friendly reminder that ALL Deep Run SPORTS PROGRAMS/PRACTICES/GAMES/TRIPS/TOURNAMENTS are TEMPORARILY HALTED at this time.  Think of this as an "extended" rain delay to the start of our season. We are adjusting our season start accordingly to ensure the safety for all. The overwhelming majority of families we have spoken with want to play and can't wait to get back out on the fields and play Deep Run sports in 2020! We will be here and ready to go with a revised schedule when the time is right and given the "play ball" direction from the before mentioned health, government and school officials. The 2020 season will be like no other season for sure but it is still our goal to have a season of sports for our kids, it will not follow the traditional dates we have followed in previous seasons.

It is the goal of this non-profit community based youth sports organization to bring our community together and resume our sports programs at some point in the future when it is deemed safe to return to play. Rest assured the Deep Run Exec board and the Directors of each of our various sports programs will continue to meet virtually on a regular basis to discuss current COVID-19 state and planning options for our 2020 season.  The safety of our players, families, coaches and support staff is our number one priority.

As a reminder, the Deep Run main Complex as well as Fairhill and Telegraph Road fields will be closed during this time. The use of these facilities by any player/parent/team is prohibited until further notice.

We ask for your patience and understanding as we navigate through this together and ask for your help in doing what each of us can do in your families and in our community to stop the spread of COVID-19.

Finally, let's take the precautions to be safe out there as well as take the time to enjoy this beautiful weather.

Thank you for your continued support of community based youth sports and of Deep Run Valley Sports Association!

Deep Run baseball update
Hello Deep Run Baseball Families,

As we continue to monitor the ongoing social guidelines around COVID19 and as some dates are approaching, questions may be forming.

From a Deep Run baseball perspective, we WANT to play baseball in 2020!  We are having discussions on how to proceed with our season with several options in mind to keep our kids active and healthy but will not make any definitive decisions until our community is deemed safe by the CDC, the Pennridge school district and the State of Pennsylvania.

Our field clean up day originally scheduled for March 21 is being postponed to a date TBD.  We will alter our opening day ceremonies (currently scheduled for April 18) and push the ceremonies to a date TBD.

I want to reiterate the Deep Run main complex as well as Fairhill and Telegraph Road fields will be closed.  The use of these facilities by any player/parent/team is prohibited  until further notice.

Please stay safe continuing to follow official guidelines and recommendations for the sake of our community.

Thank you,
Deep Run Baseball Board

8U travel baseball

Hello Baseball enthusiasts!

8U travel baseball wants all players to focus on playing in house baseball for the spring. The 8U travel team will not be playing suburban travel this year.  Around the end of April/early May the coaching staff will message to all families about signing up for a tryout session. The coaching staff will update all interested families about the philosophy of the team, expectations of the player/family commitment level and schedule for the months of May through the end of July including possible tournament dates.

We look forward to seeing you in the spring!

We are planning an even better Opening Day Ceremony in 2020 and look forward to seeing you there!
